Wow, we all knew that muffinsicon was gay, but who knew that he had a brit fetish? I knew uberfluffy was weird... Wearing skirts is one thing, but pink underwear? But I guess I've always had aspirations for the peace corps, I do work for a DoD contracter...

Dude, if I'm played by a girl, and I'm hitting on a girl, that makes me a lesbian, not gay. I never said I wasn't a lesbian.

Also, can't you just see Nick doing the "Cut-it-out!" hand motion from the Dave Coulier show? I'm not even touching Tom Strong in this context.

Doesn't the definition of gay also include lesbians? But you're right on another point, Nick does do that "Cut-it-out" hand motion extremely well.

The definition of gay includes lesbians, but that doesn't mean it necessarily implicates that. I mean, for someone who is male, "being gay" generally doesn't mean lesbianism.

So if a guy refered to some gay people, he couldn't possibly be refering to lesbians. But if a female would do the same, they are including lesbians? Stupid inefficient context dependant words...

No, if a guy referred to some gay people, and it was common knowledge that the referants were all guys, then he couldn't possibly be referring to lesbians.

That argument is dumb. If I refered to a bunch of people, and it was common knowledge that the referants were all white, then I couldn't possibly be refering to asians. This does not imply that all people are asian.

No, it implies that NONE of the people you were referring to are asian. The parallel is that "if you're referring to guys as gay, that implies that none of them is a lesbian."

But the original argument for your side was that gay implies not lesbian. To dpb we go!

No! That gay implies not lesbian when you're talking about guys!

I'm not reading dpb currently. :)

Thora Birch is the chick most known for being in American Beauty (which I did not see).

She was also the young empress in the Dungeons and Dragons movie. That one, I did see. And own. To my shame.

Ahhh. I don't like her. She perpetuates the notion that dark, twisted people make good girlfriends.
