So [info]princessdiablo was over at my place while I loaded new maps on my GPS so that she can find her way around while she is househunting in Miami. And while I was busy transferring maps over, she went around my place Kiki style, asking about the various gadgets. Finally she turned to my desk and noted the two LCDs.
"That's really cool, you have 2 LCDs and can move the mouse cursor between the two. The second one's a Mac, what do you use to make that work."
"Oh, I use this nifty littke program called synergy2 to do that."
"Wait... where is the Mac?"
"The monitor's sitting on top of it..."

Jeez! If you have a beastly amount of friends, you get "ranked." One of my friends is in the top 5%, apparently. That's insane. I have yet to meet enough people, no less friend them online.

One of my friends just came in as "ranked," too. Of course, he happens to be a project manager at AOL, and has several different development groups on his buddy list. In fact, at three degrees, he probably has a good chunk of AOL in his AIMFight stats.

So how many does one need to have in order to get ranked?

I'm still supprised at how relatively well connected I am compared to the friends who I think are well connected.

Well, my friend is ranked 31372 with a score of 153706. Obviously, I have no idea where the 5% cutoff is.
